Rural Australia without petroleum?

CSU's Institute for Land, Water and Society and the E.H Graham Centre for Agricultural Innovation will host a public forum on:

"The implications of diminishing international supplies of petroleum and the possibilities for biofuels industries in rural Australia."

Soil Health Field Day

You are invited to attend a community field day learning about the benefits of improved soil health and a range of simple techniques to examine soil health on your property. Dr. David Eldridge from the University of NSW will conduct a 'hands on' presentation in the paddock covering:

* the importance of soil structure

Conservation Agriculture Field Day, Condobolin

"Covering our Future."

This Field Day is a a partnership between CWCFA, CWFS and the NSW DPI. It combines the annual CWCFA field day in Wellington and the CWFS Machinery Field Day in Condobolin. The day will include:

* New disc & tine machinery
* Farmer converted machinery
* Control traffic & precision agriculture equipment
* Spray technologies
* Soil pits
