Description: This project is attempting to reduce continuing streambank erosion along McCullochs Creek.

Title: Emu Plains Creek Stabilisation and Revegetation Project
Program: National Landcare Program
Description: The community and members of this Landcare Group wish to prevent further degradation of catchment by trying to implement sustainable agriculture on a broad scale across the entire area. Activities: will involve fencing of streams with sowing of trees and shrubs; earthworks to stabilise streambank and regulate waterflow; perennial pastures to be continued in the catchment to reduce runoff and increase water use. Outcomes: should reduce runoff quantities, create less turbidity in stream flows, with an increase of both native flora and fauna over time from fencing of streams for trees and shrubs.
