Title: Gilmore Erosion Control and Wildlife Habitat Project

Description: The aim of the project is to reduce erosion and stabilise Nuggety Gully & Bunnabuckbuck Creekthrough minor earthworks; installation of sediment traps; willow removal; fencing and 12 ha of revegetation.

Title: Bunnabuckbuck Erosions Control and Wildlife Habitat Stage II
Program: Bushcare
Description: Stage 1 of the project included fencing off of a dammed wetland, provision of stock crossings, erosion rehabilitation and revegetation. Stage 2 will expand this project by fencing out further gullies and water courses above and below Stage 1. The provision of alternative stock water and assuring a constant water supply to the project is also to be undertaken. The area provides a significant habitat for a variety of species in a predominantly rural setting: species include water rats, native fish, numerous water birds, frogs, tortoises, snakes and is an identified habitat of the threatened legless lizard, Delmar impa. The project involves earthworks, fencing and planting.
