The Coles Junior Landcare School Garden Grants offer of up to $1,000 to schools groups to help create gardens in their grounds or community, such as a bush tucker garden, water wise garden or veggie garden. All schools, kindergartens, daycare centers, and Scout youth groups are eligible to apply.

Caring for Our Country - Open call for funding

Applications are now invited through the open call investment process under the Caring for Our Country 2012-13 Business Plan. This funding is for projects valued at between $20,000 and $500,000.

Action on the Ground - Grant program

The Guidelines for the first funding round of the Federal Government's Carbon Farming Futures program have just been released. Applications can be submitted for funding of up to $605,000, for projects to be carried our by 30 June 2015.

Funding through this Action on the Ground program is for projects that trial ot demonstrate agricultural greenhouse gas emission reductions or carbon sequestration.

The Monaro Landscape Connectivity project aims to work with land managers to actively manage patches of native vegetation across the Monaro region in the Murrumbidgee catchment. Interested land managers can also be involved in the application of Indigenous land management practices on their property, and participate in digital PlaceStories.

Small Environmental Grant Scheme

The December round of the Small Environmental Grant Scheme is now open! The scheme is run by the Norman Wettenhall Foundation, and supported by the RE Ross Trust, with the aim of supporting community biodiversity projects around Australia.

Expressions of interest need to be submitted by Thursday 8th December, with funding to be awarded in February 2012.

Environmental Trust Grants - Community Bush Regeneration

The Environmental Trust have recently announced $8 million in funding under the Community Bush Regeneration Large Project Stream, a subset of the Environmental Restoration and Rehabilitation program. The funding will provide grants for local community groups to undertake large-scale bush regeneration projects, over a six year period.
